M8 Magazine 8/8

Dirtyhertz & Jerry Bonham 'Vertigo' (Dorigen) Dorigen have been on fire this year and with this release they continue to be one of the best ‘progressive’ labels around. Vertigo is slightly trancier than you would expect from Jerry Bonham, but then again maybe this is the influence from Dirtyhertz. Using an ethnic vocal this chugs along over a tough proggy/tribal beat. The highlight of this 12" has to be the mental Rattlehead. This is going to destroy peoples brains wherever this is played with it's mental noises and
weird fx. Class!! M8/M8 (Derek Taylor)

BIGSHOT MAG (SEPT/OCT 2004 ISSUE): 4/5

Dirtyhertz & Jerry Bonham
“Veritgo” / “Rattlehead”
(Dorigen/UK)
The excellent balance of natural instruments, indiscernible female vocal wailings and synthetic sounds ensures “Vertigo” is a track to get cozy with. “Rattlehead” is a slightly more aggressive club thumper with discoy stabs, squeaky leads and a downright evil acid lead. A standout industrial sound rips through the metallic sheen.

DIRTYHERTZ & JERRY BONHAM
"VERTIGO/RATTLEHEAD"
(DORIGEN MUSIC)
Skip "Vertigo" and head straight to the flip where the magic operates effortlessly. As exciting as a Morales1 Red Zone dub from the early 90s, "Rattlehead" is deep and moody Progressive (vigorous highs and lows, hypnotic analog synths, filtered stabs, tamed distortion, rolling congas and beats). A fucked-up organ riff completes the picture and brings more blessed
references to this big room bomb (The Doors meets Leftfield meets Tiefschwartz, yes that good). Jerry Bouthier FIVE
